7 April 2019 Aragon (Spain) - In the third round of the FIM Supersport World Championship at Motorland Aragon, Randy Krummenacher once again played a starring role. He stood out in a really hard-fought race, and at the end he scored another win. The Swiss rider, third on the grid, held this position until the final stages, before making a move on the frontrunners and snatching first in the final lap. That was a real thrilling race.
Thanks to a magnificent third place of his Italian teammate Federico Caricasulo, the Team Bardahl Evan Bros could celebrate a very successful weekend. In three Rounds, Randy Krummenacher has scored two first places, in Australia and Aragon, and a second-place finish in Thailand. Results that mean he leads the way in the general standings with a 14-point lead. The championship is still long, but Randy is proving that he has all he needs to be able to fight.
The Swiss is clearly pleased about his second victory of the season: «I’m more than happy! It was a tough race, and so scoring first place is even more significant for me. I was lying third for most of the race, then I attacked and gave it my all to get to the front. I did all I could to cross the line first. I did it and that’s important but my results are also thanks to my team’s hard work and the support of my family and sponsors.»
